Hospitals vary in the quality of care they provide. A quality measure
is one way to see how well hospitals care for its
patients. This website has quality measures that show how
often hospitals provide recommended care known to get the
best results for most adult patients with a heart attack,
heart failure, or pneumonia; children with asthma or those
having surgery – common conditions for which patients
are likely to be hospitalized for treatment. Getting the
recommended care means you are more likely to have better
outcomes.
Florida Hospital wants to provide you with up-to-date results. These results are from patients who had overnight hospital stays during the appropriate time period.
The collection period for the measures is generally 12 months. However, some measures may be based upon fewer than 12 months. Generally, the Hospital Compare Quality measures are refreshed the third month of each quarter. The chart below provides the current collection period for data displayed on Hospital Compare.
